Position Overview
The Street Team Coordinator will lead and manage a team of street team members to promote our brand, products, and services at tabling events throughout the community. The ability to manage logistics, engage with local communities, manage a small team of people, and drive brand awareness will be key to our success and essential for this role.
Job Type: Part-time (Hourly)
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Day, Evenings, and Weekends
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage street team events and activities, including distribution of promotional materials, register students for trial classes, and get the public excited about DDGNA.
- Oversee day of operations of the street team, ensuring staff arrives on time, enthusiastic, dressed appropriately, and ready to engage with the community.
- Train and manage street team members to represent the brand in a positive fashion.
- Collaborate with marketing and event teams on needed items (swag, flyers, supplies) and other logistics
- Track and report street team performance, including engagement metrics and feedback from the field.
- Engage with the local community and create positive interactions that elevate brand awareness.
- Troubleshoot issues on the ground and maintain a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Ability to travel within the state of Maryland, and access to a vehicle.
- Passion and love for children is a must!
Physical Requirements
- Lifting objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Operating and using office equipment and keyboards.
