The front desk receptionist will work in conjunction with the Program Director, Associate Program Director, Managers, and other team members to provide a fun, positive, and successful gymnastics and ninja program. This position reports directly to the Program Director.
- Job Type: Part-time
- Pay: $16.50-$20
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, Weekends
Front desk hours run from approximately 3:45-7:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00-4:15pm on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet all customers (be that warm friendly face upon entering)
- Check in students
- Assist with inquiries and provide information about programs offered
- Answer phone calls and take payments
- Manage parent concerns and convey messages to coaches and managers
- Conduct tours
- Assist coaches when they need assistance (such as minor first aid)
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Remain up to date on all policies, procedures, and program requirements
- Keep the overall appearance of the lobby and facility clean and welcoming
- Present a positive professional attitude that reflects the goals and mission statement of Dominique Dawes Gymnastics Academy
- Other duties as assigned by the directors and/or management
Skills & Qualifications
- Front Desk and Customer Service: 3 Years (preferred)
- Youth or Sports Industry Experience: 1 Year (preferred)
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Computer knowledge and familiarity with basic software programs
- Well organized, dependable, and friendly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
