We welcome individuals with backgrounds in P.E., gymnastics, dance, cheer, martial arts, ninja, or other sports—or even those with no experience at all!

As a part-time Gymnastics or Ninja Coach, you’ll collaborate with our entire team to create a fun and successful program. We offer a range of activities including classes from preschool to advanced levels, camps, open gym sessions, birthday parties, special events, and more! At Dominique Dawes Gymnastics & Ninja Academy, founded and led by 3-time Olympian and Olympic Gold Medalist Dominique Dawes, our mission is to foster a positive culture in gymnastics and ninja sports.

  • Pay: $15 – $28 per hour, based on experience level
  • Available shifts: Monday through Sunday
  • Shift options: Mornings, evenings until 8 PM, and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Work with the team to provide a preschool/recreational atmosphere that meets the needs of the community and fulfills the Dominique Dawes Gymnastics Academy objectives and the preschool and recreational program mission and goals. 
  • Teach preschool and recreational classes and assist with special events, open gyms, birthday parties and workshops. 
  • Assist with community engagement at special events and activities inside and outside of the facility. 
  • Follow the appropriate curriculum or lesson plan for the level of class you are coaching. 
  • Maintain an efficient practice rotation schedule to ensure athletes have a positive and empowering experience. 
  • Maintain all required certifications. 
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment. Perform periodic equipment safety checks. 
  • Present a positive professional attitude that reflects the goals and mission statement of Dominique Dawes Gymnastics Academy towards the athletes, families, and other team members (staff). 
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director and/or CEO. 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years or older
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ready to have fun!
